What is PICO?

PICO 4 is a virtual reality headset developed by ByteDance. It is designed for virtual reality games and is only available in Europe and East Asia (China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore). It is currently not available in the United States. PICO 4 is a competitor of Quest 2.

HOW TO START?

1. Reach out to the Freelance content recruiter and explain you would like to make 360 VR videos for PICO!

2.Mention your current camera, or camera you plan on using! Mention your editing software! Mention any social media's you post your 360 videos on!

3. You will submit your videos for either suggestions or to be officially submitted for compensation form PICO!

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

Types of Content we're looking for:

*Travel/Sceneries - Any local event, craft, food, markets

*Pretty Girls - Dancing, shopping, socializing, story time

*Vlog/Lifestyle content

*Action/Extreme Sports

*Music - Dj sets on stage, indie bands, music festivals, rehearsals

*Beauty Pageants/competitions - models, BTS footage, swimwear presentation

*Events - Local festivals, seasonal festivals (easter, christmas etc), parades, spring break, Mardi Gras

Acceptable equipment is Insta 360 camera or similar 360 camera able to record 4-6K at a minimum, or professional 8K 360 VR camera. Videos below 3840x1920 will be rejected.

Video Submission: videos must be submitted via Google Drive in MP4 format!

PAY BREAKDOWN

A rough guideline explaining the pay:

*A dump of 360 raw, unedited,untrimed videos would pay you $25

*$50 per video that is trimmed, edited clip of 40-60sec min. length, handheld/walking segments not shaky/bumpy, no dust/water spots on the lens, no blown out highlights, clear and vibrant colors, clear stereo sound (original sound, voiceover) or added BGM

*$75 per video that is all of the above, also content is unique and hard to find. Great plot/story. Variety. Basic Title and Clip Description have been provided(in english)

*$100 per video that is all of the above, also angles are good & creative. Edit is clean. Sound is professionally recorded and clear. Also you have english subtitles.

*150 per video that is all the above, and also includes a narrator, use of drones or special equipment, storyline, professional edit, with multiple videos/episodes available!

VIDEO EXAMPLES

These examples actually superceed PICOs expectations, but they are very good examples. If you submit a video, and PICO has editing suggestions, they will let me know what you should change, which will increase your payment amount.
